The G1 is a super STOL (Short Take-Off and Landing) ultralight aircraft designed for european bush flying.<\/p>\n
With an accent on performance, safety remains unparralled : equipped with a survival cabin made from TIG welded 4130 chromoly square tubes, it garanties maximum security for the occupants. Designed to bend in specific parts, the cabin folds upwards, preserving the pilots from all injury.<\/p>\n
The semi-monocoque fuselage and wings are made from superior-grade Aluminium 2024-T3, which has a 64% stronger yield strength and 38% better fatigue resistance than cheaper 6061-T6. Our sheets come from certified aeronautical suppliers and go through an additional cold-rolling process that adds a pure aluminium coating (ALCAD) for unprecedented corrosion resistance, as well as exceptional gleaming look.<\/p>\n
The wing is foldable in 20 minutes and the aircraft can be trailered in conformance with european road standards.<\/p>\n
The G1 is conceived with the pilot\u2019s comfort in mind, heated and ventilated to endure the harshest conditions. The cabin is one of the widest available (1m22) and is equipped with dual controls for sharing the joy of flying. Both joysticks pivot down to the ground, thanks to a well-thought out pushrod geometry, allowing yoke-like egress and ingress.<\/p>\n
This comfort is also thanks to carefully thought out ergonomics. It is equipped with electric trim controls and flaps with a repeater indicator on the instrument panel, along with an exceptional visibility due to the canted wings and moulded doors. It performs extremely well in turbulent conditions thanks to a higher weight compared to similar aircraft.<\/p>\n
